Practical Edge

Getting a Practical Edge

We deliver practical automotive skills training for commercial fleet operators and OEMs, focusing on Electric Vehicles from cars to large commercial vehicles and buses, diagnostics, welding and fabrication as well as first line management training.

We can deliver training at your premises, bringing all the tools and demonstration equipment needed with us, and using your fleet vehicles as a focus for the training.

Developing useful practical skills is essential in the modern workplace, plus it also informs and develops us as an individual.

Our training programs are based on our practical experience of creating, testing and fixing all sorts of vehicles, from classic cars to EV buses.

We transfer those skills to you in a collaborative way, working with you and helping you to learn in your own unique way, plus we have small class sizes to maximize individual guidance.

Customer Feedback (rated 5 starts in Google Reviews):

“I attended the HGV EV Level 3 course over 2 days. Both Ralph and Adrian gave me a warm welcome and i felt comfortable as soon as i stepped through the door. great set up with an engaging classroom space and workshop with adequate room to complete the practical elements of training required. The course itself was fantastic and delivered in a way that it flows but also provides key discussion points into as much depth and detail you could want. Both Ralph and Adrian have fantastic technical knowledge, this brought everything to life throughout the course. Having been trained in EV before i still learnt and took a staggering amount of new information away. these guys know there stuff!!!” – Joe

Really enjoyed the hands on training I received that. Safe space to ask any silly questions or concerns. Small session ( only 3 of us) so plenty of time with the instructor.” – Felix

“I’ve attended a couple of car maintenance courses, and look forward to doing more. Excellent and well structured days in small groups that offer the ability to learn, ask questions and understand the how and why. I’ve definitely gained confidence to work on my own car.” – Simon
